The bee population is diminishing and scientists don't know why. Have you heard any theories? What do you think is going on with this?

(I think its kind of bad but also creepy after seeing previews for  "The Happening">>I am aware its just a movie lol.)

One theory is that electromagnetic waves from cell phone towers are starting to kill them off.

I think that it may be a virus.

It is a virus, I watched something on tv about it.

Pesticides, mebets. Combined with several other things of course. Possibly a bee-specific pandemic virus.

Do you not realize the global consequences of not having a large enough bee population?

yes ...no honey

but who cares i hate bees

Also, no pollination of flowers; ergo, no fruit; ergo, less food; ergo, food shortages; ergo, major problems.

No honey...idiot.

fuck we talked about this in ap environmental science but i can't remember exactly why they're disappearing. maybe something about moving them to a different habitat to get them to pollinate stuff and they can't survive there? or maybe something with gmo's, too.

Yeah i'm glad none of our plants are being pollinated and producing fruit and causing mass starvation in the future too.
