I'm usually happy but for the past three months i've been feeling miserable. My boyfriend started changing for the worst. I know that I should just leave him but I cant. I never had a problem leaving a guy if he treats me like crap but this is the first time.
He literally turned all my college mates against me by telling them things that aren't true about me.
I caught him cheating on me more than 3 times. He started verbally abusing me aswell.
I know it's silly but I still want him but Im so upset to see him change. Or, maybe that was him all along. Just that I never saw that.

I feel so unrespected and I feel so betrayed not only by him but my friends because they've not bothered to hear my side of the story. They just jump to conclusions and label me as the "bitch"when they dont even know that he cheated on me.
I wish that someone can be here for me right now. My friends even fell for his lie. Look! I'm alone and I cant really take it. Whenever I think about it, my eyes starts stinging from the tears.

I've been there before. Like morrison, I was in a relationship like that for five years.
My advice to you, the sooner you get out the better.
You're doing more damage to yourself than you think. I just got out of that relationship about 6 months ago. I have more issues with my self confidence than ever before.
I have trust issues, where before I easily trusted people. I'm always afraid a guy is going to let me down. I'm afraid to get close to anyone.

I had to push myself to finally leave the relationship. I moved back home with mom, changed my cell phone number, severed all ties with that guy. It will be hard at first, all break-ups are...but you'll get through it.
Once you finally do it, a huge weight will be lifted off your shoulders. Hope I helped. :]

leave. i stayed in a sucky relationship like that for five years at the end of which i ended up with a broken heart and more regret than i knew how to deal with.
leaving is the only option here. you can't change someone, they have to want to change... this guy does not respect you.
as for your friends, if they're not even listening to what you have to say, then they certainly aren't the kind of friends you need to have in your life and you're better off without them.

...you don't want to hear this...but leaving him is your best option...he made you fall in love with him and now his is trying to control you mentally....getting you friends against you so he is the only one you can turn to....verbally abusing you is just the start...once he has you and you have low self asteem from there...he will physically abuse you....but i understand your pain...you have to get rid of him though hun....get rid of him and find a new somebody that treats you right...trust me he is obviously an expert...and i know you don't want to belive me...but it is true...next HE WILL HIT YOU....message me if you want anymore help.

You really need to leave him it's definitely not a good situation for you ! The verbal abuse and the cheating has probably affected your self esteem and you need to realize that you deserve better than that ! don't let anyone ever treat you like that and get away with it ! Your friends clearly aren't very good ones if they won't listen to your side. So yea....dump his ass and find someone better !
