Mostly because I didn't care, I was going to a community college after as long as I passed high school my grades really weren't important. So I passed generally above average easily... Now I am doing summer school English in college...OMFG it is so damned stressful. it's 3 hours in the morning of reading and writing essays, then going home and writing and readings more essays. Non-stop...then every thursday is the 2 hour essay exam which isn't bad. It's just way too much I really hope the rest of college isn't this bad and at least I'm pretty sure I won't have to take another English class...I think...

You can't really get by there. Statistically speaking A students in high school grade average drop a grade or two when they get into college.
