I am a shy guy, but I feel like I've done a good job of meeting people in my classes. But most of them disappear after the semester ends. Though we've traded contact info, none of them contact me to hang out. I'm always hesitant to make the first move. I assume if I don't hear from them after awhile, they're not interested in hanging out.

I don't understand. Am I not friend material? I am quite short for my age, but that shouldn't matter.

It's really aggravating and makes me feel bad about myself.

Any suggestions?

i have the same problem. just don't worry about it. you might seem kind of intimidating to people if you don't care what people think of you or something like that...of course, i don't know what you're like, so i can't say much. just call people if you really want to talk to them, and don't assume anything. most people are just to lazy to get up off their asses and do something.
