It's .25 credits that doesn't count for anything, but counts for credit. It shows the teacher that you actually did extra time in a special room designed specifically for spanish material. (homework, movies, youtube videos but must be in spanish) It's pretty cool, and you have to do an hour a week or 16 hours during the semester, so I just do my homework for each chapter in there and watch a movie every other week (like finding nemo, madagascar etc..) and it adds up really quickly.  For this semester, I'm in spanish 2 and I have 32 hours lab (and I only need 16 hours with still 4 weeks to go), So I'm in good standing. I took it in high school, sucked at it...and now I'm staying away from it for as long as I can.
