It depends if biology is a prereq or not. Micro will usually have prereqs. At my school, the prereqs are biology II, its lab and chem II.

Plus, you can get the prerequisites waved for that course, if you talk to the head of that department.  You usually need a good reason, and it's usually only done if that's not your major/going towards your major.  Because, more often than not, the prerequisite class is also required.
