But if you go to a college where the honors kids are treated like gods then it has it's advantages as well as what agentxprovocateur  said good for corporate world etc. Zdrav Posted at 2:27 am on May 21, 2008 no, I mean honors as in taking extra classes and writing a thesis. agentxprovocateur Posted at 2:26 am on May 21, 2008 If you mean honors as in top-ranking student, there are like a million reasons to excel in academics....looks better on your resume, easier to get your foot in the corporate world, and also, with higher grades, you'll get more tuition assistance each year....for example, I maintained a 4.0 GPA for my first two semesters and i just received a scholarship paying for more than half of my tuition. agentxprovocateur Posted at 2:24 am on May 21, 2008 Honors as in the program or honors as in 4.0 GPA and high grades?
