| There are a lot of jobs in the marketing field, but as I said it is very competitive...which leads into the math thing. I am pretty sure as a business major, taking an accounting class is mandatory. In terms of having a competitive advantage, having accounting skills definitely does not hurt. However, math and marketing are technically not related. |

| - No it isn't hard. Skills: interpersonal, teamwork, computer skills, and creativity. Pretty much a job in marketing requires you to have no set hours, always be able to come up with new and innovative ideas, being able to get along with others and compromising, and your overall objective is to make some sort of product or service sell. It is a very useful class if you plan on going into business. The marketing industry is one of the most competitive industries in the business world because it is probably the most fun. Marketing itself is kind of a broad term however. Most jobs pay very well in marketing. For example, a marketing and sales manager at a company in new york can make a big over $100,000 a year, or even the sales managers in the radio station i worked at made VERY good money. However they had to constantly find a way to have the edge over competitors towards their clients, and they were always working long and hard...Marketing can be VERY fun for someone who is enthusiastic and excited about business. |

The four P's of marketing. Product. Place. Promotion. Pricing. That's it, only it goes into much more detail. I could go into it a bit more if you'd like, I took a vocational class in marketing. lollll |

| Marketing is...well..it's marketing. Well for starters, it falls under business. It is about companies.... It's kind of like advertising products, promotions, distribution of products, customer satisfaction, etc. |
