Which one's did you take (if you took them)?  Why?

-----------------

I took Bio M, Math II, and French.  For what I wanted to apply for, most schools required me to take the Math (level II was preferred), and some form of science.  The last one could be whatever, so I took the French because I wouldn't have to study, and it would show that I had some form of fluency in the language :).

i took sats in year 9, they're not that important lol xx

Lol, not if you plan on being in the UK.  I wouldn't have gotten into my college without taking them... lol.

you need GCSEs to get into college...

In the UK, sure. But the OP is from the US, where people do not take GCSEs. Either the SAT or ACT is required by most schools, with the more selective ones often requiring SAT II exams (2-3) as well.

Yea, but you said the SATs weren't important.  And I was just stating for someone that wants to go to a school in the US, ACT or SAT is a requirement at many (At least SAT Is).  But it's like me saying the GCSEs are pointless, it just depends on where you want to go.

there are II's?

Yeah, those are specified subject ones.  Not all schools require them.

But basically, they focus on a specific topic, and require more specific knowledge than the SAT Is do.
