They were made back when blacks were not accepted into other colleges because of their race. A white guy just graduated from Morehouse which is a historically black college and was valedictorian. His brother now attends the same school. Whites go to historically black schools but not too many of them go there for many reasons or even for this misconception. Just because they are "black" schools doesn't mean other races or whites can't go there. I just got into one, Howard University.
