well um why didn't you find good schools in your price range? dude you gotta find schools that are willing to give you a full ride if you're so worthy of them.
lets just say, my family makes enough and i wasn't looking for full rides because the schools i like are actually competitive.

FAFSA is so ridiculous and is unrealistic in its calculations to provide financial aid. Unless you're destitute, FAFSA funds aren't available to most people. This is false. no, its not. i'm not qualified for work study. i'm only qualified for loans, and i don't need loans, i need grants and scholarships. i'm getting not enough money that actually helps (loans do not count as help in this scenario because they really don't) Because you fall in an income bracket that disqualfies you for need-based aid. There are still many ways to pay for school if you can't get need based aid. there are thousands of independent scholarships you can get involved with that can offset the costs. They take ome hustle to get, though.

the problem is, the amount of money that is necessary needs to be at least partially supplemented by the school. i'm appealing to my favorite for more money. if i can get workstudy even, i'd accept anything.

You really don't deserve to go to any school. What makes you "entitled" to go to some first choice private? i never said i was entitled to go. i just would have liked to, but i'll be happy no matter where i go. it just sucks that i get accepted and money is the only thing blocking me. but, i'm not gonna let my parents take a major hit that they couldn't afford without major sacrifices. its called being a bigger person. This puts you in the same boat as millions of other kids. Actually, the majority of the applicants we get, that is the most common scenario. What is it that the private schools possess that you don't feel you can't get somewhere else?

see theology in a school. an actually decent program. even though i'm not religious, i was kinda looking forward to getting schooled in religious beliefs since if i want to go into politics, i'll need some knowledge of christianity. plus, gonzaga university is a pretty good school last time i checked.
She did not say anything about how she felt entitled to go to her first choice school. She's just bummed out that a lot of colleges would like her, but she does not have the funds to go to the ones she wants.
