Ok, I'm in all AP/Honors classes. At my school, you get 5 extra points for being in AP/Honors classes. My weighted GPA is 3.7, currently, whereas my unweighted is quite a bit lower. However, on official transcripts, we just get numeric averages, with the 5 points already added in. Will colleges know about this? Obviously, I'd rather tell the my weighted gpa. From the stuff I've gotten, they ask for either.

So it wouldnt be fair to compare your unweighted average which could be lower than people who r in regular classes . its completely different curiculum. at least in my school it is. im in honors too Shibs Posted at 12:06 pm on June 25, 2009 My school doesn't give us any extra points for AP classes.
