I am a certified nursing assistant in Cali, USA and recently, I've been considering going to Canada (Ontario preferably but BC also works). I have researched the field and pretty interested in Practical Nursing. I am a perm-resident in US and my passport is from Taiwan.

Now, the ugly part is I got myself in trouble with the law and my parents have decided to go with me and go to court to fight these douche bags who are accusing me of shit.

Besides that, I plan on leaving US for good and go to Canada after.. My questions are:

1. Would I be able to apply to study/work in Canada without mentioning my trouble in US?

2. Which colleges/trade schools are around Ottawa area? I've searched and seem to find little.

3. Am I able to transfer credit and licensure from Cali to Canada?

Sorry wish I knew man. I also want to be a nurse and possibly transfer to somewhere in Canada, but I don't know anything =/
Why don't you ask a councilor or something?
