i dont play sports t so im asking you guys that do  my bro is 15 years old and he wants to play football  he is pretty much in shape but for more like basketball tho  but he is a fast a$$ runner and bowl legged and all he do at school is play ball but his school dont have a team its just like a few pals of his that play.  so what type of work outs should he do  o yea he wants to be a runner back  so what type of stuff should he do  is it good for him to work out alot on saturdays (he lays down playing da game all the time) i tell him if he wants to be sucessful in life he gotta put work in to it. so help me out...im a music person not sports

Do lunge laps, straight leg deadlift, squats(3x10), and do some agility stuff. Thats what kind of I do.. and It helps out alot

Esofad, if he wants to play in college, he's got to get some experienced playing organized football(and not casual games with friends).

to be successful he would have to dedicate his life to it, it has to be a passion not a hobby. And even then you need masses of natural ability.
