All my life I have been ..well..athletically retarded. I'm not good at many sports but I really want to be. I swim and thats about all ive done.

I'm starting ASU in the Fall and they have a pretty  good Intramural Rugby team. I reall want to play but I have some questions.

1. I know Rugby is tough in that you get hit a lot and you have to be strong but how is the actual difficulty of the game? How does it compare to football or basketball. Again I'm not talking about the physical aspect, more on the strategy and game play.
2. What is a good weight to be at? I'm 6'1 , 200 pounds. Im on a strict muscle building diet and go to the gym five days a week.
3. What are some good ways to prepare for Rugby
4. Is the game play hard to pick up and learn?

Rugby in terms of stratgies is hard becuase once you play it bascially comes to instinct..

its like football and soccer combined. no pads, full contact, you play straight through. more like hockey with a football and no pads. fun.
