I think my roommate is angry with me. I came back from the bars Saturday and was pretty drunk. I made it to the bathroom, then after vomiting fell asleep on the floor. The bathroom is connected to our bedroom. I'm usually in better control than that. Not to use this as an excuse, but it was a friend's birthday--so it was a "more drinking than usual" occasion. The next morning I apologized and then cleaned everything in the bathroom. I didn't throw up on the floor, I just wanted to make sure the bathroom was clean and smelled fine. She didn't say much about it, and she didn't seem real angry.

But then today I asked her if she wanted to go on a bus trip. The trip happens to be the day after our college homecoming. She said she'll be going home that weekend. I feel guilty--that maybe she's afraid I'll come home drunk again and she doesn't want to deal with that. I'm not saying you have to get trashed on homecoming, but even sober it's a fun weekend and she's missing out on it.

I don't like being that drunk like Saturday. Because the bus trip is early Sunday morning, this will also be a reason for me not to drink excessively. But she doesn't really like football and doesn't drink so maybe she's not real interested in homecoming anyways. We're juniors and the last two years she pretty much didn't partake in any of the festivities. It just seems coincidental.

Yeah, I think she might be thinking you'll drink again. That sounds like a legit reason to not wanna go to the party. Talk to her about it, and tell her you wont drink anymore.
