Okay, so I'm stuck in the middle of this rather interesting situation...

My roommate is gay and she and her friends (not all of which are gay) are going out to this gay nightclub tonight. I was invited to go last week and said I would but am now unsure of whether I should go or not for several reasons:

1. I have a headache and a backache and kind of feel like staying in and resting, the past few days have been pretty rough, academically speaking.

2. My roommate would be gone until midnight or so which would mean that I'd have some peace and quiet, some time to myself which I rather enjoy.

3. My boyfriend's sister (who is also gay...or is, at the very least, currently claiming to be gay...) is sort of being a bitch. He's afraid that I'll start acting like her which she found out somehow...but misinterpreted. She now thinks he's afraid that she'll turn me gay and has told my roommate that "it would be funny if I flirted with her and danced with her" so she's either trying to get at him and/or get at me and I don't need drama. She loves it and is always trying to make more and I'm just not into that.

4. I'm likely to get sleepy and be unable to leave anyways, I'm already tired (lame, I know, but, like I said, the past few days have been rough and I've worked my ass off).

5. I can't dance...

6. However, I've never been to a nightclub and this might be the only chance I get for a while.

7. I don't want my boyfriend's sister to think I chickened out solely because of her, as if I'm uncomfortable with the idea of being around gay people and/or her because she might dance with me. If she wanted to dance with me just to dance, that'd be okay but dance with me to get at me and/or my boyfriend? Whole different story.

8. I don't want to be thought of as boring, childish, I know.

Should I still go?

There'll be more chances to go out in the future, there's no point in going out for your first time and having a bad night out and you have more good reasons to stay in than go out. Stay in and rest to health I say.
