So when we first moved in (we share a room) I had 3 general rules, nobody goes in my fridge (both have our own), nobody on my bed and keep the door locked.

Well I really dont have much of a problem with someone sitting on my bed or taking food, what does tick me off though is the security issue. Ive come to the room two times to discover our door unlocked. This last time my TV(brand new) and laptop were out free for anyone, he just so happened to take his computer with him while he was out. So now I lock everything up in my closet and took my TV home. Everyone used to come over to our room while I was home for the weekends and watch movies, now the whole group kinda resents me for it. I honestly dont care too much, all I asked was to keep the damn door locked. Is that too much to ask for, really?

All I ask is to not get in my food, not wake me up, and lock the door.

Did you tell your roommate that you took the TV because he wasn't respecting your rules?

yeah, he said sorry. I guess its not too much of a pain locking my crap up, sucks I have to do it but at least I wont have to worry about it. Our room is MUCH more quieter, its pretty boring. Its easier to work though. Im gonna wait it out and see what happens.

I don't think it's too much to ask either. Maybe try a different roommate next semester?

Yeah ill think about it, we live together decently. Of course you always here these horror stories of roommates fighting, we actually get along well. Just sucks having to lock everything up all the time and not being able to leave things out. I feel stuck lol.
