Quote: from Anonymous at 3:27 pm on Nov. 14, 2008
When I first came to college, I naively thought that everybody I was friendly with qualified as "friends". But then I learned that not everybody wanted to be your friend, nor were they worth befriending. Now, I'm a junior, and my social circle gets smaller and smaller everyday. I have a handful of close friends, but even the people whom I thought were close friends of mine only occasionally return calls/texts, and are always busy with something. They rarely reach out to me, and I always have to meet up with them. I feel more isolated now than I have ever felt in college.
yo that's part of life and as classes get smaller and work gets heavier there's really no time so pls don't take it personal, this is a time you'll need to really look at ur close friends and start valuing them and if ppl are not interested that's no prob there's hundreds more ppl out there....i'm also a junior and the same thing is happening and there's always social events around campus to go meet new ppl and learn new things that's the privilege of going to post secondary is so ur mind grows around new and more different ppl
