I need ideas for a gift for my girlfriend, something romantic

Forget romance.

Just think, "What would she like?" Don't think, "Where is the romance?".

For me...a Valentine's Day Stuffed Animal was enough. Forget chocolate. Forget roses. A kiss on the lips was enough.

Here are some ideas:

- MP3 player

- make up

- shoes

- accessories

- video games and board games

- a small tv for her room

- her favorite movies

- a dvd player

- digital camera

- an expensive sweatshirt

- jewelry

- passes to somewhere she loves (like an amusement park or zoo)

- laptop

- books

- tickets to see her favorite band

I take my gf something every time we are together; candy, shirt, cap, perfume, ice cream, dinner and I hide things in her apartment for her to find later.  Refrigerator, under her pillow, in her shoes, pockets, coffee cup and on and on.

If I really wanted to make a big impression I would buy her a nice piece of 14/18K gold jewelry which I usually do for her birthday.

Once I took her to the park with lunch already packed with cheese, good bread, sandwiches, dessert and wine.  We spread it out overlooking the mountains and it was one of the nicest afternoons we have had.  I had a small dvd player with some music and we talked and talked talked...got some cuddling in too.
