I dont think that any girl would lie about that happing..! when you say something like that after wat she told u, its makes her feel good that you care and that is y she did the u ok thing Just Waiting Here Posted at 10:36 am on Aug. 26, 2008 Based off of that, I would say you can't judge.  Things that are truly hard for people sometimes make them respond in strange ways.  You would expect someone to possibly break down crying, but instead, they take on a completely different personality.  If anything, she could be honestly telling the truth, and just trying to alleviate the tension. Because... if she gives in to the emotion, then it becomes more "real', in my opinion.  If she admits that it bothers her, then it hurts so much more... and she may also be worried about your reaction... and maybe wants to avoid a large session on discussing the matter...
