Or would you rather have him TELL you to do it? Example: Asking You - "Hey, are we going to hang out Saturday?" Telling You - "Hey lets watch a movie and have dinner Saturday." Is this RUDE? How would you want a guy to ask you to hang out with him?

Replies nik1 Posted at 11:07 am on Nov. 11, 2008 Actually neither one is a directive.  The second one is borderline but if you have been with the girl a long time I think it's ok.  I typically use a gentler approach such as; "How would you like to go to a movie and dinner on Saturday?
