One, i didn't initiate the flirting. we were discussing something prior to that comment. and two, i told him to make sure that if we e-mail he needs to be appropriate. i told him multiple times. so yes, it's his fault. he should have known better. . nope, sorry, still yours. you cannot control what other people will do, you can only control what you do. you had control over which account you emailed him from, and chose your work-monitored one over a seperate personal account. if you got in any troule over this (which honestly, i doubt you will, so chill) he should feel bad for the role he played in it, but ultimately it was your email, your job on the line, your fault.

and you're wrong.
Just because your mom emails you doesn't make it "ok". If you can help it, don't do it. It's just not worth the hassle and the worry. Especially if your boyfriend is going to send you stuff like that.
Use a personal email account. Personally i wouldnt use a work email for anything unless it correlated with work. Just to be on the safe side of things anyway. i know some employers are kind of strict on that kind of thing, even if its an innocent email....so yeah.
right. i know the company very well and i know its okay to use it for personal. my mom worked for the company and emails me all the time all day long. so its okay i'm just scared that they are going to see what he said and take it terribly
