So, like most girls would, I got a little upset.  The very time I go out of my way to surprise HIM, he shuts me down.  To make it worse, he dusts it off and rolls over and pretends to take a nap. (And eventually DOES fall asleep, after I'm even more upset). I don't have the means to surprise him all the time, so when I do, it's a BIG thing to me.  It only goes this weekend and tonight would have been the best night to do it. Help me out!! I understand that the work day might have been long, but

Did she not say that HE suggested the arts festival first?? Hun i wouldnt worry about it too much. He is a guy... (no offence guys) and they sometimes dont seem to appreciate the things that we do for them, and we have our moments too. Did you tell him that it was the arts festival that you wanted to take him to? Maybe not surprise him on a day that he worked and was on his feet... OR... you could give him a foot rub and make them feel better, relax him and then take him there? Hope all goes well, good luck. It doesnt say anywhere that he suggested an arts festival, he just asked her to make plans.
