They dated a long time in high school and she was a year older, so they still dated when she went to college her freshman year. The boyfriend also decided to go to her SAME college the following year.
But like pretty much a week before college started in August (she was sophomore and he was freshman), He broke up with her! He said that he didn't love her anymore...
The awkard part is that they not only went to the same school, but they also lived in the SAME dormitory!!
He would be a jerk and openly flirt with the girls on her floor in front of her. And that would be ok with me BUT the dorm was majority female (6 floors were girls, only 2 of guys)....of all floors, he picked HERS to flirt on... And it hurt her soooooooooo much!
Another shitty factor is that only 6 months later, he got a new girlfriend . . . . and this new girlfriend (who he's still dating) happened to be roommates with the his Ex's BEST FRIEND! So anytime my friend wanted to see her BFF, she had to go into her Exboyfriend's new girl...and it was very uncomfortable, especially if he was in there.
Do you think he dicked her over?
-You are into something that is none of your business -You are only hearing one side of the story...hers. -If he broke up with her and told her then he has no obligation to her any longer -People that are hurt in the break up of a relationship are looking for any reason to believe that they were done wrong. It's apparently over. Both you and her need to drop it.
BUT 6 months is a LONG ass time to wait. 6 weeks would have been fine for crying out loud.
I agree that he waited a long time with is current girlfriend to get serious.
BUT, he was actually very very very interested in another particular girl (again, who lived on his ex's floor). This was soon after the breakup, probably a few weeks to like a month. He was mad crazy for her and liked her a ton.
They talked for a little, but basically she was not liking how "physical" he was becoming with her and ended it. So I assume he really wanted sex and then they dropped it.
