He is very attentive with me (which I love). Last night at the poker game, we were at separate tables, but he made me laugh, just the same, from across the room.
He's intelligent, handsome, attentive, a leader, compassionate, loving, a friend, and incredibly sexy.
How do you know you truly love someone? I'm having a hard time trusting my feelings. I don't see him ever hurting me (emotionally or physically), but trusting has always been an issue with me. I trust him. I don't trust myself. Hard to explain.

It's something you just know.
I knew, with my ex. I know I still love him, and would take him back, within seconds, no questions.
But with my current beaux, I knew, last week. I just knew. And I told him.
and somebody that you are completely comfortable around (meaning, you can burp, fart, poop, puke-you catch the drift- in front of one another without completely mortified...but more accepting.
Take this with a grain of salt because I have zero experience in the matter, but from what I've observed, you're supposed to just KNOW. Another big thing I've always heard is that you learn to love the little flaws about them that would normally piss you off or annoy you. Also, they allow you to be yourself and you don't feel like you're holding up any walls around them. Then, look to the future. Can you see yourself spending the rest of your life with him? Can you picture the two of you old and wrinkled and nasty but still in love and siting on the couch watching Wheel of Fortune? That's love.

This is a pretty good description.
I'd maybe even tack on that you know it is the real deal when you love someone with the flaws rather than despite their flaws.
It's "misspelt"
Both "misspelt" and "misspelled" are acceptable ways of saying it.
