He is very attentive with me (which I love).  Last night at the poker game, we were at separate tables, but he made me laugh, just the same, from across the room.   He's intelligent, handsome, attentive, a leader, compassionate, loving, a friend, and incredibly sexy. How do you know you truly love someone?  I'm having a hard time trusting my feelings.  I don't see him ever hurting me (emotionally or physically), but trusting has always been an issue with me.  I trust him.  I don't trust myself.  Hard to explain. How do you know you truly love someone?

It's something you just know. I knew, with my ex. I know I still love him, and would take him back, within seconds, no questions. But with my current beaux, I knew, last week. I just knew. That's love. This is a pretty good description. I'd maybe even tack on that you know it is the real deal when you love someone with the flaws rather than despite their flaws. You know you love the person when, you don't get bored of that person, you can be around that person 24/7 and not have a complaint at all. You know you love that someone when that person gives you " goosebumps " or makes you smile constantly. You know you love that person, when that person knows all the right things to know.
