Also, I assumed you were a declared minor - meaning you have officially moved out and are not your parents' dependent.

A LOT, if you do things right. My friend pretty much got a full ride to Cornell, all need-based, cause she lived with her mom who makes almost no money. Smart girl...

It doesnt matter if you live with them or not. If they make good money, you have to put that on the forms and they might not give you anything.
