let's say by the time I graduate college, I'm $60,000 in debt. If I started off with a $30,000/yr job, realistically, how long would it take for me to pay off my debt?

30k per year is about 2500 per month. If you paid $100 per month, it would take 50 years to pay it off. Honestly, I don't think you can pay much more than 100 bucks per month. 2500 per month is kind of low no matter where you live.
