Once it's processed you can look at it online. I don't remember all of the things you can learn from there, but basically what you're waiting for now is an award letter from the school. That will say what the government/school is offering you. for example, I filled out the forms and all that, but i haven't actually applied to schools yet, since i'm doing it online. So I haven't gotten any paperwork, because its got to come from the school.

I sent my FAFSA in and got all the shit done for it (questionairre, lots of phone talking etc), and got the confirmation about a 3 weeks later. If it takes more than a month, you probably did something wrong. That or there's a high volume for FAFSAs when you sent your sin.

The time varies but typically around a month, I'd say. You can go online and check out your EFC and status of your FAFSA by logging in and selecting the appropriate links. It will also say whether or not you will be awarded a federal pell grant. But the FAFSA will also help you get school scholarships. These scholarships' time frame of being awarded depend on the school.

Like a few weeks or so. I'm not even really sure what it means now.. Or what the EFC means, Just that it gives you an EFC and then lets you edit it and such. Sorry I'm not of much help..
