So, I checked my FAFSA status online, and I've received a couple of grants. Now that's all it says, nothing about work study or loans, will this be something that will be offered to me as the school year approaches (I've e-mailed the financial aid office about this but haven't heard a response).

I also havent officially received a letter from my school either.

MORE IMPORTANT QUESTION: I have very very minimal credit, and my father has very very poooor credit, how hard will it be for me to get student loans without a co-signer? I need to come up with 10,000 somehow =[

you're not guaranteed work study or loans.... but if you don't get it through fafsa just apply for work study yourself at school.

Well it is going to be really hard. What you need to do is what i am going to do. Get a hp laptop online you make $21.00 payments every month and it will help with that.
I have a store credit card from where I work and always am good with that.

Now where exactly will you be getting your laptop from? Should I go from the hp website or somewhere like Best Buy? Also, isn't there some sort of approval/credit process to even be able to do a payment plan?

Okay you go to hp.com. And you find one like i am getting this one. http://tinyurl.com/dfm4jx. But you just buy it. And i don't think you have to do anything like that.

There's an hp credit application in order to do that. I dont want to risk not getting approved because it does lower your credit score a little every time you apply for something. I guess I'll just talk to a financial adviser about all of this. :(

thank you for your response

Okay i am sorry i tried to help
