I was just wondering if there was a way for me to get a loan without having to use my parents' to sign for it? I'm trying to avoid plus-loans as I would rather get the loan myself and even pay for it myself as well. I don't want my parents to worry anymore about money than they have to.

FAFSA, I have done all I can do with it.

I have tried another relative my freshmen year and it did work out. Then I found out I was getting less financial aide than both of my brothers (who wasn't getting this same help) and it was because my grandma was helping me pay for it. It sucks that by my grandma helping me with paying for school that it actually hurt my FAFSA and financial aid.

Right now, I'm just looking for a way to get a loan to help with school a little and of course help with my rent when I need it most.
