The first time around, it usually takes a little while to get together and all. But usually the next few years, it doesn't take long to put together and sent out. Yay! snoopyloopy Posted at 4:50 pm on Jan. 1, 2008 you have to apply every year. but if you remember your pin and stuff, you can fill out a renewal fafsa where you only update the information that's changed and put in your new tax info. so if you fill out one, you don't have to completely fill out a new one every year.
