Anyway, my mom doesn't really want me to go, and she is saying that we still can't afford it. Even though its nearly paid in full, and I can get more money from other scholarships ect.   Should I still go there (I really want to go)? Plus, does Financial Aid change, each year?

A parent wants to keep their child with them at all times, and when the child moves out, it is almost like a loss to the parents bc their raising is over with. I mean, once you turn 18, you can go even if she says no, but you do want her approval anyway. But even still. I need her approval, because it cost $1,000 deposit, and going to be another $1,000 for flying up there. I will be flying up there twice. Do airline's give student discounts? It is entirely up to you to do what you feel is right to do. You won't like the winter here I know that lol coming from TX.        It better not be "nice". It better be "great"! :)   It's a great University, but you just won't like the winter. lol Be prepared.    I know that I will be surprised by the winter, however I hope I can make some friends that can help me prepare for it.
