You plug it in and its a pot and you can heat your food in it. Can be very helpful. I don't know what MRSA is but it doesn't sound like AIDS. Shower shoes seem like such a waste of money. You buy a pair of flip flops for 3 freaking dollars. That certainly costs a lot less than the doctor bills and pills you have to take if you contract either MRSA or Staph. Also, if I were you I'd invest in a nice tempurpedic mattress pad(doesn't need to be name brand, Target makes one too), they can run between 20 and 30 dollars, and they make a HELL of a difference to the mattress.
