My question is, are residence halls typically strict when it comes to rules? Especially rules concerning guests.
Yes. If the rules say, "No members of the opposite sex after so and so time", they mean that. The same for, "No members under the age of *insert age here*, nor older than *insert another age here". I'd look into the rules. Some dorms don't even allow guests, without Housing Admin knowing of it. Some don't allow you to have ANYONE spend the night. It depends on the school. |

| Mostly, yes. Depends on your RA though, some are more lenient than others. |

| It really does depend on the college. |

| Every place is different. Most of them have policies where as long as you clear it with the manager on your floor of the residence hall ahead of time, then it's ok. Some of them have limits though as far as if the guest is of the opposite sex, from a different school, etc. You really would need to ask your school what their policy on it is. |

If it lives in the hall how would it survive? Surely they need water? |
