OK I am in Drama Club and the woman is Satan.  I mean I love her to death but like i was 1 minute late and she cussed at me... she was all down in my face and threatened throwing me out of the play and everything... anyone else had an experience like this?

It is also because if you want to be an actor when you are older, if you are 2 minutes late say to a rehearsal, you WILL be outta the show.

Dang, that is harsh.  I am in theatre tech club, which is backstage, and he is really nice, and he will never yell at us unless we REALLY annoy him.  Which is difficult.  But if she cussed at you, that is bad.  I would so quit.

Its called discipline and it's what you are going to need to suceed in drama. I have found every drama teacher I have had tough, but it's just because they know that the field of acting is tough and theya re trying to prepare you for it.

Oh entirely. Our entire Fine Arts staff is like that. Welcome to the world of (generally) single, older, annoyed teachers.

We have

The band director who bitches about everything and says the world revolves around him (seriously, he has a speech prepared on that topic)

The drama teacher, who yells at you one moment, then can't remember who you are or what you're doing there the next.

The choir director, who shouts and screams, and then falls silent in order to allow you to freak out in your head whilst not moving - in order to keep order.
