But basically, the key is finding the source of the smell and eliminating it, I mean, thats all you can do, sniff around when your roomate isn't there. dreamweaver Posted at 7:22 pm on Dec. 7, 2006 OK, time for deep cleaning.  Wash everything- including curtains, bed sheets, all clothes, and shoes (if possible).  Buy some baking soda and some spray that smells nice.  Oh and some febreze is great as well.  Take the baking soda and sprinkle some of it on the floor, and let it set for about half an hour, then sweep it up.  If you don't have carpet, mop the floor really good.  Take some bleach and water mix (1 to 3 ratio: water to bleach) and use it to clean the mattress- that will kill germs and smell along with it.  Clean out the fridge (if you have one) and all your drawers.  Get rid of anything that is trash.  After you have washed all your clothes (if you use dryer sheets when drying, double the sheets) put them all up.   There's more to go but I'd say this much should do it.  Just make sure your room is clean and that there is no food and dirty clothes lying about, as they can contibute to horrible smell, with rotting and body odors.
