Really depends on the school.  The first school I was at campus life sucked a lot...even parties were lame (then again it is a city/bar school).  But other bigger state schools are a ton of fun, imo

But if you go to a nerd school like Case Western, well that sucks, soooo.

As I actually go there, I'm going to disagree. Dorm life really isn't bad here. Of course, you can't move off campus until senior year, so it means that the majority of the people you'd care to hang out with are close by. True, the parties are more sparse than at a large state school, but they are there, especially if you're in a frat.

The thing is, dorm life doesn't mean that you'll have something to do at all times, and that you'll never find yourself bored. It just means being in close proximity to a number of things, and being around a group of people, among whom you might find several fit to hang out with.

Whatever on-campus living spaces are like, the odds are

they're going to be small. And living in them means living

under the college's rules. As students pack up and move off to

college during the next month, their parents are bound to haul

back some of the things that won't fit or simply are allowed.

college is a blast, but where you go determines how much fun you will have.  I went to Tulane and Cornell.  Tulane was more fun.  The dorm experience anywhere you go should be a good time.

The thing I like about campus life is the dorms.  It's pretty cool to have people around all the time.  And if your hall/quad/whatev does things right, it can be a really close-knit little community.

Campus life definitely has its benefits. You can meet a TON of people in the dorm, who turn out to be some really cool people (or some really douchebag-ish people, it depends. Usually there's a mix of both). For me, I didn't really meet anybody in my freshman dorm last year, but this year as a soph I met alot. Also helps if you're in a co-ed. All-girls dorms are too cliquey. Plus, being in dorms usually means you're really close to classes and other things like the student union, library, etc.

However, I am living in an apartment with my cousin starting this summer, and it's going to be awesome. I've got my fill of dorm life, and while it was nice, it's time to move on from the tiny shared rooms and visitation hours and all the RULES. I'm really looking forward to being in my own space again.

Depends on the school. If you go to a liberal party school like me well then hell yeah. But if you go to a nerd school like Case Western, well that sucks, soooo.

Yeah it`s cool! For one thing you`re close to parties, girls and alcohol,And for two you will be closer to your classes and that`s always a good thing.

Depends on the person you are.  It can be great--parties, alcohol, flirty girls...Or it can be lonely, if you isolate yourself because of stress with your classes, roommates, work, Greek life...Its your choice if you want to make college life fun.
