Not a good rep for an RA and I'm sure if ResLife found out about it they would do something about it ASAP.[/quote] FAQ Keyword Search: Post Options Favorites Manager Notify me of new replies to this topic by email Notify me of new replies to this topic by private message Original Post Anonymous Posted at 4:19 pm on Sep. 30, 2007 There's this RA in one of the guys dorms who's been pretty wild so far this year.  He constantly holds parties in his room and people from his hall and girls(like me) will come and drink with him.  I've actually hooked up with him 3 times, the last being last night and when I say hooking up I don't mean sex.  Generally we're both drunk when we hook up and he's  just been a total ass to me lately....I  feel like he respects me less and less.                         like last night we were making out and fooling around a bit and I started questioning him, I wanted to talk a little you know?  But he'd been kinda irritating me and even though I was mod. drunk I still questioned him asking him why he doesn't call me when he's sober really and is it because he just doesn' like me?  he basically didn't respond at all so i said i was leaving and he didn't really try to stop me and so i stormed out.                                I was upset about it but I kinda knew it was coming but at the same time I didn't know what to expect.  anyways, today I dedicated a song, " you only  dial me when your drunk" by white t's and his immediately messaged me saying, "ok no more drunk dial...sorry i'm a sketchball" that was it.   Anyways, so on some reflection I realized I was pretty upset about it and i was talking to one of my guy friends who's a senior here and he realized i was upset and got it out of me what was wrong and now he's reporting him to student affairs.  I really don't want him to, but he claims that he's overstepped his boundries with the partying and he's prolly done this other girls as well....i tried to talk him out of it but he won't listen.  I'm mad at this RA, I mean he's an ass and I dont' want to talk to him again but I don't feel like I need or my friends need to deliberately get him in trouble.  It's not like he raped me or anything close to it.

Both schools have rules that you should never date another RA in your complex or date your residents because it could cause some major drama that no one wants to get involved with. It's pretty dumb to party in your room, and even dumber to do so if you're an RA- you're going to get caught. Pretty plain and simple. Either it's by a co-worker or a resident that doesn't like you... you're bound to get caught for it in the dorms. I support reporting him for being such an idiot, actually. RAs are supposed to encourage a healthy environment for everyone to be able to socialize. He has gone over the line with the partying and even further by hooking up with his residents. There's a reason why it's against the rules at most colleges for RAs not to party and date residents or even other RAs in which they will have to be in contact day in and day out.
