A nice bonus? If you're eligible for financial aid, you can get paid for it -- and I'm eligible for up to $1,500 a semester. Not only that, this kind of thing looks AMAZING on any type of scholarship application or resume.

The lady in charge of this group sent all of the Ambassadors an email today asking us what we have contributed so far, and if we are interested in remaining in the group next semester, why she should keep us.

I'm debating whether or not I should stay with this group. Next semester I will still have a full-time job and I will be going to school full-time. I'm guessing that I can handle the amount of time required for this group (I'm taking most of my classes online), but I'm mostly worried about one thing -- all the extreme gossip that goes on among the Ambassadors.

On a typical day, the Ambassadors stop by and hang around the lady's office who is in charge of this. They sit around, bullshit, plan stuff...and gossip. They are so horribly vicious that most of their conversations consist of trash talking one another. I can't be around these people without hearing about "what a slut so-and-so is" or "what a bitch so-and-so has been lately". Seriously, who fucking cares? And they call themselves friends?!

What makes it worse is that the woman in charge of this gossips just as badly if not worse than all of the students involved. It's absolutely horrible and I avoid her office most of the time so I don't have to listen to all this bullshit.

Should I drop it or keep it?

--I just joined and it would be kind of shitty to quit right away after they got me everything (jersey, name tag, enrolled in it as a "job", etc.).
--I will get paid a lot for not a lot of work.
--It will look freakin' great on any scholarship application and help me gain more money in the future.

However...
--All they do is gossip and talk shit about each other.
--The woman in charge encourages the gossip and is just as bad as the students.
--I will be working full-time and going to school full-time.
