| I think in a professional establishment, it's very DEGRADING to be called something of that nature. Other than that, the use of the word 'hot' isn't really degrading. I agree that, in most cases, it's a compliment and not a derogatory comment. |

| Being told you're attractive is fine in itself, but if it's part of a general feeling of 'your looks are all that you're good for', then it gets insulting. But to me, a compliment is great. Especially as I'm a bit of a swamp donkey and don't get 'em too often! :D |

| it depends on the manner that we are told we're hot. sometimes it's just a guys way of saying "hey. you're attractive"......for some guys....it means something dirty to them. and it's quite annoying.... |
