Just go with your heart. my dad made the same mistake and he always has regreted staying in the job hes in now and hes 50 this year and theirs no changing for him now. do it while your young. It's your life, don't EVER do anything that will make you miserable for the rest of it, and it does sound like Engineering is making you miserable. Or, maybe pursue a double major.
