I would actually go Versa or Dare, simply to avoid the extra fees that come with the smart phones. You still get a full web browser, great interface, responsive touch screen, etc. the google phone, ya G1    also check out Nokia's 97 - an extremely popular phone, with stuff like night vision, email password decryption, and mind control :) Again, VZW, no GSM, CDMA only. VZW only. No N97. No G1. No Android at all.
