hey i am tryin to write my first ever poem and i was wondering if any1 could give me any advice... sorta like do's and don'ts . really any advice at all will help loads :)

When you think you are done with it, speak it out loud and see how it sounds. Most poetry must be said aloud to get the most out of it.

try and write what u see around u, such as a beautiful nature, the weather. Be cool.

Use smooth sounding clever words, never write basic wording, i find writng to music that reminds u of a certain moment/scene helps a lot.
