Often when I get these moments of inspiration (which pretty much always happens in the night), among the first ideas concerning a new story is its very last sentence.

So was the case last night: a draft of what the last paragraph would be about popped up in my mind, and then the closing sentence.

How do your brainwaves feel?

Same here. I will come up with the last four chapters to my book just trying to get to sleep.
