I looked in the poetry writing guidelines. I want to write a love poem for my girlfriend. Im planning on calling her when she's at work, and leaving it on her voicemail, for her to find when she's on her break. Here's the thing... 1) im not good at expressing my feelings... 2) im horrible at writing poetry. Can anyone give me advice on writing a love poem?

Personally, I get really sad when bad poetry is written, but it's also adorable so whatever you'd rather do.
