the grammar, spelling, punctuation etc havnt been fixed yet as it's a first draft.
also what do you think of it quality wise?

cracked with age mature skin appears to be
a guide as to which direction to follow
but the chain and device held on your ankle
may be pushing you off the course

Escapism may be your thing and your set
to find a place, sure as hell worse than the last
to stop and jump from the clock tower
fly from the ties of reality

with your bones in splints,plans set in ruins and fractured bits
can't you see the old map knows more than you think
don't you see now diamond clocks arent such a rarity  
as nothing else as quite as unyielding
