When posting multiple pieces of poetry, please do not make a new topic for each individual piece.  Some members in the past have posted numerous topics at once, which leads to every other topic being pushed down, or even bumped to the second page.  This is disrespectful.  So, instead of posting multiple topics all at once, you may do either of the following:

1.)  Post three or four pieces of poetry in the same topic.  This will save room for other topics, yet still allow people to view and comment on your work.
2.)  Do not post all of them at once.  LiveWire isn’t going anywhere.  You can always come back a few days later and post them then.  This will give you time to absorb the feedback you received on your previous work before posting something new, and help to keep others’ work visible.

Also, if you post a poem or story that is not of your creation, you need to cite the author's name. Failure to do so is plagiarism and a formal warning will be issued if you do not add the authors name.

Failure to respect these guidelines will lead to topic deletion.

Thank you,

It would also be really nice to specify what it is.

For example:
"The Depths of Despair"
poem

"The Creator of Fame"
An Art Piece

"The Bottle"
Painting

"The Boy and His Dog"
Short story

It would just make it easier to view.

i didnt realise i wasnt allowed to post two different poems on seperate topics i have always been able to in the past

Sorry about that.
Its not that you cant post multiple poems, but its the fact that you dont need to post them in different topics, because you'll get the same feedback in one topic. Basicly you'll be clogging up the space that people need for help. Dont worry its not that bad.

Yes, and the applies to all topics, such as recipes and Jokes and sometimes even stories. Your right about conserving space like that its a good thing. Its also less annoying to people who are supposed to wait for them to repost their other poem.

2.)  Do not post all of them at once.  LiveWire isn’t going anywhere.  You can always come back a few days later and post them then.  This will give you time to absorb the feedback you received on your previous work before posting something new, and help to keep others’ work visible.

All very good points, I dont think that you should keep coming back to poems (or any topics) asing questions and expecting answers the next 20
seconds.
Also I would just like to add if sommeone doesnt like your poem or story or joke or whatever, please keep your spats with them private, pm them for it is personal. Do not flame other members. If they dont like it they dont like it. They dont have to give you a reason but if you would like it again ask them in private.
Thats All....

<3 God Bless

It's a good thing you put that in. When I first saw this, I was like, "Oh, someone mod picked my topic", and clicked on it, and then found that you made your own. I was ticked, until I saw the credit.

So where did my topic go anyways?
