I'm a member of the Irish reserve defence forces. The London Metropolitan Police: I am actually looking at the police now, cos they get so many perks, too many to go into. but in a few years i could be in a very wealthy situation. Its like the army without all the bullshit marching and parades. Plus 10 times better pay. Can you join the TA when you're in the police? Graphic Design I really like art and for quite some time I was hoping to got to college and study graphic design, and i liked the work opportunities and the contract work and the option of going overseas. I am really leaning towards the police, i just hope i can join the TA and possibly still go o Afghanistan then...and maybe be able to do a graphic design degree part time or something... but yeah all the perks and large salary with the police is really tempting.

So, I'm suggesting you get a 4 year, or at least a 2 year, degree in graphic design. The funny thing about law enforcement is your college degree doesn't have to be in criminal justice or anything like that. Just going to college is a plus for them. So, kill two birds with one stone. Go on to being a police with a four year degree in graphic arts and you'll be more of a chance of promotion.
